Choosing the right environment for your youth is an important decision. Here are answers to some of the questions families ask before getting started with the Youth Life Center of the Arts.
Youth Life Center welcomes children and young people through age-appropriate experiences designed to help them learn, grow, build confidence, and discover their unique gifts. Specific age groups and experiences are available on our Experiences page.
We provide creative arts, hands-on learning, leadership development, community experiences, homeschool enrichment, mentorship opportunities, and other programs designed to support whole-child development.
Getting started is simple. Click "Get Started Today," complete the inquiry form, and our team will guide you through the next steps, including orientation and enrollment.
Absolutely. Through our Parent Network, families can connect with other parents, participate in community events, and stay engaged throughout their child's journey.
Safety is our foundation — physically, emotionally, and relationally. Clean spaces, caring adults who know your child's name, clear expectations, and honest communication with families at every step.
Confidence, character, and a voice — plus skills, friendships, and adults who believe in them. Every YLC experience grows the whole person: self-esteem, discipline, creativity, teamwork, and a clear path from dreams to a plan. They leave a little taller than they walked in.

Background Check Consent
Required for anyone who may be around youth.
Youth Life Center of the Arts serves young people, so safety is our first filter, not our last. Anyone who may have contact with youth — staff or volunteer — must clear a background check before an interview or orientation is scheduled. It is never optional and never skipped.
By signing below, I authorize YLC to conduct a background check as part of this application. I understand results are reviewed fairly, on an individual basis, and in line with applicable law, and that a check being run does not by itself decide the outcome of my application.
